Is edelbrock really better than holley?

i was talking to this guy earlyer and he said he would rather have an edelbrock and re jet it than get a holley, he said they stay tuned better and actually perform better, is that true?Is edelbrock really better than holley?
Holley carbs were the best, now Edelbrock has caught up to them, in both quality and applications. For a total intake package, go with Edelbrock
for street use or drag racing holley is a better carb ...

off road or 4 wheel drive use edelbrock is a better carb because it is set up for 4 cornor idling and performs better in off road applicationsIs edelbrock really better than holley?
i like quadrajets better than either one.
yes they really are better carburetors than a holley is,the holley wont stay tuned right and will never run the same for more than 5 days in a role, you can tune an edelbrock once and it stays set for a long time without needing adjusted,im running a few edlebrocks right now on a chevy and a few on some dodges, and i prefer them over a holley, you,ll get people that will prefer a holley though over an edelbrock, but for me the edlebrock has been the carburetor of choice for about 20 years now, good luck.Is edelbrock really better than holley?
The 'brock vs. holley debate is really no different than the Ford vs. Chevy debate. Everyone has their own opinion on what works better and why they would run one part over another. It really would just come down to the application you were running, the parts you chose, and how well all of your parts work together. A brand is just a brand. Both companies produce great products. Its up to you to decide what would work for you.
