Carburetor Edelbrock running my engine rich?

I was wondering why all the sudden my 600 cfm carburetor is guzzling my engine with fuel. I have no vacuum lines leaking and the intake isn't leaking either. So what the heck the carb is 6 months old! My timing hasn't changed on the engine either and fuel pressure is normal....???? its a ford 302Carburetor Edelbrock running my engine rich?
If it was running normal before, I would suggest that the level in the bowl is abnormally high. Possibly reasons include:

1. dirt / metal / rust in the fuel inlet valve seat

2. broken/collapsed float,

Jetting would not change much even with the seasons.

A leaking "power valve" can do the same thing, but they usually last for years.

Perhaps the climate change from 6 months ago has changed how the tune of the carb is working. Especially now that the air is getting cooler. Check the choke also, could be slightly closed.Carburetor Edelbrock running my engine rich?
sounds like its time for you to purchase a calibration kit. its easy to rejet them. out of the box theyre tuned for 350's so youll probably have to jet down a couple sizes.
