both intakes are made for different RPM ranges, the torker is a single plane intake that is for racing and is not that great on the street as it really doesn't start working until you hit 2,500 RPM and is good up to 6,500 RPM, the performer is a little better than a stock intake and is a dual plane intake that makes power from 0 RPM up to 5,500 RPM and is a good street intake if you want to replace your stock intake with a little more power, now if you want the best of both worlds go with the performer RPM as it's a dual plane intake that starts at 1,500 RPM and is good to 6,000 RPM.Whats the difference between a edelbrock torker and performer intake manifold?
The torker series is an open plenum designed for maximum horsepower at high rpm. These are very dependant on other choices within the engine. Typically don't even think of the torker if the engine is going to see any street use.



The performer series intake is a dual plenum, These intakes boast more horsepower through low and mid rpm ranges, where most daily driving and weekend warriors run.
