Whats the difference between a 650 cfm and a 800 cfm edelbrock carburetor?

Alot. 1st the 800 cfm flows 150 cfm more air through it (way too big for anything under 427 cid)

Next is the fueling curb is set to match the air demands and fuel demands of a large cid engine

The 650 has .095" main jets, .098" sec. jets, .068x.47" metering rods, .031" pump nozzle, 1-7/16" throttle bores, 1-3/16" prim and 1-9/16" sec venturi

The 800 cfm has .113 main jets, .101" sec. jets, .068x.047" metering rods, .035" pump nozzle, 1-3/4" throttle bores, 1-17/32" prim and 1-5/8" sec venturiWhats the difference between a 650 cfm and a 800 cfm edelbrock carburetor?
One would work best on like a 350 ci engine 650cfm and the other on a 455 ci engine. The cfm is cubic feet per minute and will deliver the portions of fuel to go with that amount of air. If you over carburete an engine it will run doggy and foul plugs even going down on the jetting. Always try to go with a carb that fits the engine.Whats the difference between a 650 cfm and a 800 cfm edelbrock carburetor?
The amount of air and fuel that can flow through it the 800 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) will allow 150 more CFM through it it is a larger carburetor.

The larger one will also run a larger engine.Whats the difference between a 650 cfm and a 800 cfm edelbrock carburetor?
