Can i install an Edelbrock Pro-Flo on a 1978 Monte Carlo and still pass the Smog Test(California)?

their is an area on the bottom where you can make a hole and connect it to the breather, so should it pass?Can i install an Edelbrock Pro-Flo on a 1978 Monte Carlo and still pass the Smog Test(California)?
Not sure, it's over 31 years old so there might be an exemption however the Eddy Pro-Flo II contains the following small print;



* Not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled motor vehicles.

Maybe, but you should use Bosch Platinum single points, or Nippondenso Iridium spark plugs, which burn more completely. Good Luck!!
