Are edelbrock carburators the same for chevy ford and chrysler?

i want to buy a edelbrock carburator 1407 thats currently on a ford and put it in my chevy 383 with an edelbrock intake. ThanksAre edelbrock carburators the same for chevy ford and chrysler?
Edelbrock/Carter carbs are universal carburetors made by Weber. Only difference is throttle linkage. Change the Ford linkage on the carb to Chevy and it will work. Are edelbrock carburators the same for chevy ford and chrysler?
Edelbrock carbs are uni fit aftermarket carbs. Its a std square bore pattern and will fit any make/mod/year with an intake that will accept a square bore carb.

Only diff is the throttle linkage. Out of the box the carb is ready to use on GM, and mopar, but needs an extra bolt on linkage bracket to work on fordsAre edelbrock carburators the same for chevy ford and chrysler?
it fita almost all vehicles... you may need a adapter plate if going on a stock intake... and the throttle linkages are different... so you will need the part to hook your throttle cable up... other than that its universal....
ok they work on chevys and fords but not chrysler they use some other kind but it should work good i did the same thing once.
