Do you need an adapter plate when using a edelbrock carberatuer on a holley intake manifold?

You should not as long as ur not hitting anything like the throttle linkage or as long as it clears the vacuum port in the rear of the intake. If you need on they are not expensive and use a good gasket.Do you need an adapter plate when using a edelbrock carberatuer on a holley intake manifold?

Theres 2 types of common carb flanges. Square bore and spread bore. The eddy carb has a square bore mounting flange, so if your holley intake is a square bore pad it will bolt right on

If its a spread bore intake, it will not fit with out an adapter

Heres what a square bore intake looks like http://static.summitracing.com/global/im鈥?/a> and heres what a spread bore looks like http://static.summitracing.com/global/im鈥?/a>
